School Business Manager

Our current School Business Manager is re-locating so an exciting opportunity has arisen at Sharrow School for a pro-active and resourceful School Business Manager to join our committed and friendly staff team. The successful candidate will be part of the management team with responsibility for manging the operation and delivery of the school support services, including finance, HR and facilities.

Closing Date: Monday 1st July @ 9am
Start Date: 1st September 2024.

Teaching Assistant – Level 2

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team which will include supporting children with special needs on a one to one or group basis. This role could be in KS1 or KS2 depending upon your experience. Previous experience of working in a multi-cultural primary school will be an advantage.  Candidates need to demonstrate a commitment to the school’s inclusive ethos. This is a fixed term contract initially until July 2024.

Closing Date: Friday 21st June at 12 noon. Interviews: Tuesday 25th June. Start Date: 1st September 2024.

Midday Supervisor

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor from September to join our friendly team supervising our fantastic children during their lunch break. Duties will include caring for the children during their lunchtime, helping them to eat their meal, organising and leading play activities outdoors and ensuring their safety.   This will be two hour a week contract on Tuesdays to cover maternity. However, additional cover on other days is often required.  This would be a good opportunity to gain experience of working in a school setting.

Closing date: Friday 21st June 2024 @ 12 noon. Interviews:  Thursday 27th June 2024. Start Date: 1st September 2024.
