Art Day 2

This was our second art day of the year, and once it again it was a great success throughout the school. All year groups participated in their own way with children exploring art through a variety of different mediums. This art day saw the Year 1s create an ambitious desert island, the Year 2s make 3D thatched houses, the Year 3s use local artist Pete McKee as inspiration, the Year 4s using monochromatic painting to create landscapes and everyday objects, and the Year 5s using pastels to create desert landscapes. Once again, dedicating the entire day to art allowed the children to fully immerse themselves in their projects and produce something they were very proud of.
